Walgreens $5 Challenge 7/11


2 8.5 x 11 Legal Pads ($0.29 each after in store coupon)
2 5 x 7 Legal Pads ($0.29 each after in store coupon)
4 Packs of Index Cards ($0.39 each after in store coupon)
1 10 pack of Mechanical Pencils ($0.39 each after in store coupon)
Total: $3.11
Used: $3 RR
Paid OOP: $0.11

This time of year is when stores start putting their school supplies for next to nothing.  If you try to go to at least 2 stores weekly to stock up on those items that they have on sale that week.  My stores are always CVS and Walgreens...during the great deals I usually add in Staples and Office Depot.
These Legal pads are so versatile too!  I am going to use the larger ones for my padfolio and the smaller ones are going to be perfect for my boyfriend to use for the plays in football.  So, even if you don't have kids or aren't related to a teacher, I'm sure you can find purposes for these could even use them to write down your grocery list!  (Although, I try to use backs of envelopes or old receipts so that I am helping the environment!)

Great job @ wags!! i will have to stop by and stock up this week {again}!!!... DBF and I bought ober 15 ten-packs of pencils last week for his sister... she's a teacher... I hear note cards often come in handy!
