Calculating Savings?

So, I'm thinking about calculating my savings every month.
Do y'all calculate how much you save?
Do you think it helps you in your budget?
I'm just wondering if it is worth the time to calculate every purchase's savings and so forth.

I've honestly never thought to do this but it's a fabulous idea! In fact it would make a great meme. It could be Saturday Savings. :) If you started this as a meme, I would link up to you and start calculating my monthly savings too! I bet you drive quite a bit of traffic. What do you think?
If I had the time and patience I totally would but no can do but it would be great to see it on your blog :-)
I find it takes me almost all week just to read all of the coupon blogs and clip and organize the coupons, plan dinner and write my shopping list. Adding saving tracking would just be too much right now. Baby Steps for me!
