Kroger and Walmart Purchases

We went in to buy a lot more of stuff which would have been mostly free but we were informed that Walmart no longer accepts printed coupons. Has anyone else come across this? The cashier said it went into effect yesterday, but I just read over their corporate coupon policy which can be found HERE. I have heard of other people carrying around the coupon policy with them but I have never had to. Since I had not read the coupon policy within the past 24 hours I could not insist that Walmart does accept internet coupons because she said it went into effect yesterday. I think it is ridiculous that Walmart is incapable of either properly training their employees or updating their corporate policy accordingly. If you ever visit Store# 1062 print out the coupon policy before you go. Sorry to vent, I am just livid at the fact that the cashier was so rude and now proven...incorrect.

(CVS Cashiers can adjust down the price of the ECB. So I gave a $4 ECB but the remaining balance was only $3.99 so they adjusted it down to $3.99.)

Personally, we can't use that much Mylanta so we will donate it to the homeless shelter.

We can't use that much Windex either so I will give it to family members.

This is the joy of couponing is helping others along with your budget!!

*My Boyfriend and I have different residences and that is how we are able to make 2 separate purchases. (He shops with me 75% of the stores I go to!

There should also be 1 more bag of gummy bears but we ate them on our way home. If we would have bought 1 more bag we could have used another $2.50 RR but we can just save it for next week.

This week I received a Walking Stick made by Mike's Carving Corner that I won on a giveaway at Tightwad in Utah. I absolutely love it! It's tall so it will fit most heights!

I won SKOY cloths from a giveaway on Turning The Clock Back. I am so excited that these are going to help me be more environmentally friendly!!
I won Whimsy Wares from a giveaway on Mama's Goin Crazy. This smells amazing!

Pita Chips
The Pita Chips were amazing!! I've had several brands of Pita Chips in the past when I am trying to go for a healthier alternative to the potato chips but they were just never really all that great and I always ended up going back to the potato chips. Cedar's Pita Chips however were awesome! For me they were able to curve my potatoa chip urge without the guilt of potato chips because the are ONLY 100 Calories per serving! How fantastic is that!

Hommus

I received a few of these and I wanted to share with family! This is the best hommus I have ever tried before! Every single one of them! I loved the variety of flavors! Since I shared these with family members I want to share their reviews as well! The More The Merrier!!

My boyfriend's mother thought that the Roasted Red Pepper was the best hummus she had ever had! She absolutely loved it! She kept going back to it and eating more. Of course she had it with the Pita Chips which she also said were great!

My Aunt Marie loved the the Roasted Red Pepper as well. She said it was the best out of all of them. She enjoyed the spicy, sweet combination.

My father enjoyed the Roasted Garlic Smooth and Creamy Style the most. He said that the smooth texture was great and had lots of garlic flavor. If you love garlic flavored stuff then you will love this hommus! He also enjoyed the smokey flavor of the Roasted Garlic and Chives.

My sister's favorite was the Roasted Garlic and Chives she said that it had a really good chive and garlic blend.

Edamame Salad
Everyone enjoyed this! It is such a healthy snack option! It had the right variety of vegetables to make it an amazing snack!

I had the opportunity to Review Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner! I LOVE it!!

Honestly, I kept running my fingers through my hair because it felt so soft! I have only been using it a week and I already feel this much improvement. The new formula provides treatment feel to restore softness and smoothness in the time of a daily conditioner, which is always important since we are all so busy!! It contains Fiber Active technology that works to penetrate deep inside the hair strand to help rebind damaged proteins; patented Micro Moisture serum helps repair the surface of hair by sealing lifted cuticles to help protect against future damage. I can honestly feel a difference!!

I recently have been cutting back on straightening, blow-drying, and highlighting my hair in a desperate search to get healthier hair, but some damaging factors such as sun, pollution, and running are unavoidable for me. (Especially the swimming that is about to happen in these summer months).

This daily treatment allows you to do all of those things to your hair. The Glee Cast submits their hair to hours of styling daily in order to achieve their desired looks and this leads to damaged hair. In order to take care this damage THEY are now using Dove Hair Care (with Fiber Actives). This is an easier and less expensive option to receiving monthly "Hair Conditioning" treatments at the salon that they tell me I need every time I get my hair cut because of my damage.

As for me, I am still going to try to stay away from the highlighting, but I will definitely be using this conditioner so that I don't feel as bad when I am straightening my hair.
