CVS Gift Card Deal

Photobucket
We all know that money at CVS can go a lot further than money at a lot of other places.  Now, I definitely do not do all of my weekly shopping at CVS because that would add up too quickly and our budget can't afford that.  But there are always those few items a week that you just can't pass up and that is how the money can go so far.  Most of the items I get there are practically free!

This week's deal that are practically free are:

Depends Variety (6ct) – $6.99

Use $2/1 Depends coupon (Must register)
Spend $4.99-$6.99
Get $6.99 ECBs (Limit 1)
Free ($2 overage if you use coupon)
Sobe Lifewater – BOGO

Use BOGO SoBe coupon

2 for FREE
Listerine or Reach – $3.99
Use BOGO Reach Toothbrush coupon (RP 12/6) AND
Use $1/1 Reach Toothbrush  or Value Pack (RP 3/7)
Pay $2.99 for 2 Toothbrushes

Get $2 ECB each for each toothbrush ($4 ECB total; Limit 2)

(The reason why I say "practically" free is because it is sometimes hard to make your items equal the exact amount of your ECB so you are still paying some Out of Pocket even though you are getting ECB's back. Money out of pocket is still money spent.)

So...to make that money go even further, CVS is having a great deal on gift cards right now.  For every $25 you spend on CVS gift cards you can get a $5 one free.  So if you spend $50 on giftcards you get $10 CVS gift card free!

I did this deal back in November when they had it the last time and theey ome out as printable giftcards to the e-mail that you sign up under.  So make sure to use a real e-mail.  You have to keep track of the paper gift card, but I think it is worth it for the price.  $10 at CVS can go a long way.  I did this originally because of the good deal, but then I really liked being able to track my CVS spending.  I was able to KNOW that I didn't spend over $50 at CVS which was reassuring.  Because I know all those $1.30 and $.25 ending totals after coupons and ECB's can add up.
Go here to purchase the gift cards.

If you are questionable about the paper gift cards, CVS has a question page here which answers many concerns that could arise.

Cool! Thanks for the info. I agree that even though you are not spending much, even a dollar or two a week adds up.

I would like to share a tip I just found about a discount gift card exchange called abcgiftcards.com . You can buy sell and trade gift cards at discounted prices from all National retailers.
